Onni-Ndangi Iithete

Onni-Ndangi Iithete is Head of Legal Services and Company Secretary at the NamWater, where he sits on the Executive Committee. He has led the negotiation and conclusion of NamWater's bulk water supply agreements with major mining customers, structuring the legal and commercial frameworks underpinning water security for the sector. As Chairperson of NamWater's Desalination Steering Committee, Onni led the NamWater negotiating team through the conclusion of the Joint Venture Agreement with Swakop Uranium, establishing Erongo SUNAM Desalination (Pty) Ltd to jointly develop a seawater desalination plant at Wlotzkasbaken — a project central to securing long-term water supply for mining-led growth in the Erongo Region. He now serves as an Alternate Director on the Erongo SUNAM Board. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Wartburg College, USA), an LLB from the University of Namibia, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice from UCT and a Master of Leadership and Change Management from NUST.
