Timothy Marais

Timothy Marais is the Head of Exploration at Andrada Mining, where he leads the Company’s exploration strategy across its portfolio of critical minerals assets in Namibia. With over 15 years of experience in mineral exploration and project development across Africa, he specializes in lithium, tin, tungsten, and other critical minerals, advancing projects from discovery to resource development and value creation. Beyond Andrada, he supports international collaboration to strengthen Namibia’s critical minerals sector, including partnerships with the EU. His key focus areas are responsible resource development, geological innovation, and the role of critical minerals in the global energy transition
