Presley Kamuvi

Mr. Presley Eddy Raeta Kamuvi Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy | Acting Deputy Director: Mine Safety and Operations Division Mr. Presley Kamuvi currently serves as the Acting Deputy Director for the Mine Safety and Operations Division in the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy and by statute serves as the Acting Chief Inspector of Mines. Presley holds an Honours Degree in Mining Engineering from the Namibia University of Science and Technology and has over 8 years experience in the mining industry. Presley is a strong advocate for achieving zero-harm in mining industry and is actively involved in the review of the Mine Health and Safety Regulations to keep up with the dynamics of the industry and to maintain a safe and productive mining industry in Namibia. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Namibian Institute of Mining and Technology (NIMT) and the Chairperson of Small Miners of Uis (a section 21 company) Board of Directors. He serves as a member on the Chamber of Mines Health and Safety Committee representing Government.
